Children grow and develop so quickly, especially in the first several years of life. However, when particular skills don't unfold as expected it can be very worrying. I aim to understand each child, the world they live in and how their individual strengths and needs impact on how they function at home, school or wherever their life takes place.​

Truly effective therapy requires teamwork. I believe in working with parents, carers and teachers in order to help children achieve their full potential.



I work with children and young people who have difficulties in the following areas:



  • Language
    • Children who may find it difficult to understand instructions, learn words, use sentences and talk about things that happen
  • Speech sounds
    • ​Children who have difficulty using particular speech sounds and whose speech is difficult to understand
  • Stammer
    • ​Children who stammer/stutter/have dysfluent speech
  • Social communication (including ASD)
    • Children who find aspects of social interaction difficult
  • Other difficulties impacting on communication/language development
    • Children with learning difficulties or other developmental difficulties
